Magazine DPS page 2nd draft
I kept my first (page) of the double page spread the same, as i wanted the main focus of the article topic to be expressed in a more simple and effective way, rather than lots of information rather than image based, with short quotes etc to help the audience remember. Also on this page, i reduced the size of the logo 'BMM' in the top left hand side corner to match the same font size as my contents page, to create a synergy and make sure it ties in well and doesn't mismatch other pages of my magazine.
For my second page of my DPS in my magazine, i decided to completely switch up the whole overall house style and format of the page, because with my first draft i was unhappy with how it all looked, and not very much like a magazine article page/DPS. So i split my page into 3rds in columns, with a main title at the top to easily show the main title/focus of the information. I also reduced the text size of my information/text and the font, because i feel as though it looks more professional rather than having large bubbly text in a big font size; although i want to keep it along with the theme of British music and almost a timeless magazine, i dont want it to come across as too informal, but not 'formal' completely.
